Pieter Bruegel's Hunters in the Snow

The snow is thick and the hunters return from a long tiring hike, through forests and fields. A fire is burning in the distance.

The hunting dogs are exhausted after a long outing. Their heads droop, their tails are low.

Further out in the painting (not visible on this postcard), there is an ice skating rink, a town, a watermill and mountains in the distance. All of them covered in snow, that is as white as thick fluffy summer clouds.
