Residency - 13

This house will return to me in my future memories. It will have its phantom existence: warped, summarised, foreshortened, squeezed and skewed. Its whole width and breadth squeezed into a blink of an eye. Its windows, door handles, floor boards, corridors, the surrounding forests and fields as far as the eye can see tucked away, flattened, compressed, reconfigured.
