When we recall, in our mind’s eye, a place after an extended period of time, how much of it is based in reality and how much of it do we fabricate?
This series of pencil drawings, looks at the links between perception, imagination and memory. These drawings are based on places from personal memory and combine fragments from architectural spaces such as old school buildings, sheds, previous homes, etc. These architectural fragments are collected and joined together playfully to construct new combinations of spaces.
